The biggest installation of ABC Compressors in terms of power:
EHP-6-GT
ABC has been awarded a contract for the supply, delivery and commissioning of a set of natural gas compressors for the Combined Power Plant of Morelos (Huexca, Yecapixtla), property of the Federal Electricity Commission of Mexico (CFE Comisión Federal de la Electricidad). The contract was completed on its supply phase in December 2012, fulfilling the required 7 months EXW delivery time and included a set of four reciprocating compressors type 1EHP-6-GT (1 stage and 6 cylinders) with an installed power of 1.150kW each one: 3 of them will be working on 7 days and 24 hours basis and the other one will be on stand by. Their duty will consist on keeping the inlet gas pressure stable for the 3 gas turbines of 200MW each, which are also feeding a steam turbine of 42MW. When started up in 2013, it will become the biggest installation, in terms of power, supplied by ABC on his 70 years of existence, becoming an important milestone in the expansion of the company.
